inspirational-quotes-31

I’ve always loved giving out a bit of inspiration here and there, making people smile.

I already accepted the fact that I’m not amazingly good at anything, like some people are, when they find their one thing that they’re really good at early in life and then they just get better and better at it until they are experts! Like great piano players, or editors, or brain surgeons, or painters or writers or singers or firemen or…well, you catch the drift. Kudos to them, but I’m not like that. I’ve already tried a boat load of different things to find my niche, and I’m still looking. And I accepted that. And the fact that I may be good at a lot of small things, and maybe even great at some of them, but I don’t have an expertise. Not yet anyway. So I will not be saying how valued I am as a blogger or a writer or a lifestyle specialist, because I am not.

Basically, I’m your plain old average mid-twenties young woman with no incredibly big achievement to show for, but you know what? I got spunk. And I got spark. And if there’s something I really like doing, is making people smile, and making a small difference in their lives. I used to present my favorite quotes in front of a small audience ans sharing my intake on them, and I loved the moment I looked at those people and saw that lip curled up into an understanding smile, followed by their eyes being light up. I could almost hear their thoughts go somewhere along the lines of: “Yeah…that makes sense” or “Yes! That is what I am going to do” or the occasional “Wow…”.

Now what I want to do here is to have my own little place for sharing those things that bring inspiration and motivate people, a place where I can share my perspective and thoughts on different subjects, and a place where I can learn by doing. And who knows? Maybe, somewhere along the way, I’ll find my niche too.

In the end, this is what this blog is really about. The little things. The small reminders that our lives are beautiful. The little push we need sometimes to get up and do something. The tiniest hope given in our darkest hour. The spark that ignites the fire.

I encourage you to take what you need from here, and do what you will with it. But I do hope you will respect this space and each other, because at the end of the day, we all want to be better people and have better lives.

If, by any chance, you want to see some more of the things I discover frequently, you can follow me on twitter, where I share a lot of productivity and personal development articles from my favorite blogs, on pinterest for creative DIY ideas or cool quotes, or on stumbleupon where I tend to save different interesting web pages, varying from crafts to quotes to self improvement.

Also, just giving you a heads up. I’ll be slowly adding stuff and changing other stuff until I can actually be visually pleased with everything, so don’t be surprised if you come back one day and find something completely different replacing this text, or a shiny new  Wordpress template 😉

Thank you for visiting and have a jolly good day!
